Dr Anil Kumar Singh is an eminent Pulmonologist based in New Delhi & Lucknow. He is currently designated as Senior Consultant and Director, New Life Chest and Family Clinic, Lucknow. His expertise ranges from routine assessments of chronic cough and shortness of breath to evaluating patients for complex presentation and lung diseases. He specialises in the treatment of pulmonary diseases such as asthma, COPD (emphysema, chronic bronchitis), allergic cough, sarcoidosis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, ILD, lung cancer and other related disorders. He is also a leading sleep breathing disorder specialist with vast experience in treating sleep apnea. In addition he has good experience in treating patients with HIV and lung diseases in HIV.
Dr. AK Singh has an MBBS and an MD in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease. He also acquired the European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine in 2013. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, and has received specialised training through several workshops that he has attended over the years. On completing his MD, he was stationed as Senior Resident and Registrar at the Dr. ML Chest Hospital, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, from October 2005 to November 2006. Subsequently he was a Senior Resident at the Lala Ram Sarup Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases until July 2009.
